Our one day ‘Chocolate 101’ course is the perfect class for those seeking a deeper understanding of hand made chocolates. In this class, we make a variety of chocolate products, including filled chocolates, and dipped/enrobed chocolates. You will learn how to apply cocoa butter transfer sheets to add a real professional finish. You will also learn a simple method for making caramels from scratch! We cover many of the modern techniques of professional chocolate making by creating a variety of recipes in class. By the end of this class, you will be able to make some world class chocolates, and have a solid understanding of how to flavour your chocolates in a way that will really impress your friends and family. These chocolates will be good enough that you could even sell in markets! You also get your own workbook to take away, including the actual recipes used in class.
And remember, everything you make – you take! All products made by the class are divided up among the participants!
